Bullitt Center

Built by Schuchart Construction, the six-story Bullitt Center was designed to be the first commercial building in the world to achieve the Living Building Certification. Bullitt Center satisfies all of its own energy, water, and waste needs with 100% onsite renewable energy, water, and waste management. This is achieved through a large solar panel array on the building roof, a rainwater collection and purification system, and on-site waste manage and treatment systems. Constructed of Pacific Northwest heavy timber, the Bullitt Center is designed to have a 250 year lifespan; over 6 times the life span of a typical commercial building.
